Tamara Ramsey is an associate in the firm's litigation group.

Prior to joining Chitiz Pathak LLP, Tamara practiced in the litigation department at McCarthy Tétrault LLP. Her practice focused on intellectual property and commercial litigation. She was involved in managing large multi-party disputes and in arguing complex motions and applications. She has experience in the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Courts and Supreme Court of Canada.

Tamara has a general litigation practice, which includes corporate and commercial matters as well as disputes arising out of the termination of employment and consulting relationships.

Tamara was called to the Bar in March 2003. Prior to obtaining her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, Tamara received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Winnipeg and a Masters of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University (with Distinction). She was also the recipient of the Wilfrid Laurier Graduate Gold Medal in Arts.

While attending law school Tamara worked as a technical writer and computer systems analyst at a large New York based media company.

Tamara is a member of the Advocates' Society, the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the Toronto Intellectual Property Group.
